LOUISVILLE, Miss. (PCTV) - As LHS begins a new school year, many opportunities and classes are offered as well as a new course.
On September 7, 2018, Miya, Sadiyah, Alex, and Elijah interviewed student along with a new course teacher about their experience at LHS. A senior at LHS states, "Yeah, I like this class." Another student at LHS, Ariana Hawthorn, told us, "I really like my biology class." LHS is also offering a new class called Broadcast Journalism. The teacher, Mr. Robby Donoho, was an sports anchor for WCBI. He says, "In this class, you get to use your imagination, put your unique touch on it... so far I love it!" LOUISVILLE, Miss. (PCTV) -- The Louisville High School band has improved drastically over the previous year.
We at PCTV interviewed several band leaders. They provided us with insight on how the band is now functioning and improving. Maya Clay, the current drum major, stated that her strategy discipline to keep the band going everyday is motivation. She further explains that not only are they a band, they are a family. Another band member we interviewed was Star Latham. She stated that “band is going great, and the show is entertaining.” Louisville High School band are not only improving, but also having fun and enjoys what they do. Even though sports is a major activity LHS, band is slowly becoming an attraction to the community. LOUISVILLE, Miss. (PCTV) -- During this PowerCats interview we focused on Football players: Meyon sanders, Victor Mosely, Jontea Garnett, JaCorey Grace, Kaleb Mosely, Kevon Jackson, and Shemar Eiland. The topic was their last game against Ripley which they won 55-7. One of our players, Kaleb .M. stated that "If we can execute our competition then we would absolutely come out with a win." Other players agreed and were very proud of their successful win against Ripley.

As we know the Pride of Louisville is trying very hard to come off the rating 2 from their "Temptations" show.As the Junior Clarinet,Shamiya Goss said,"By working harder everyday we could get the Superior Rating that the band want.Each band member that was interviewed explained that they're goal is to get a superior rating.The band would also like to ask all the student body to join the band if they would like. LOUISVILLE, Miss. (PCTV) - The Louisville Wildcat football team is hyped and ready for the upcoming game against Kemper County.
In Louisville,Ms the home game of the year is coming up as the Louisville High Wildcats take on the Kemper County Wildcats. The football players are working hard and preparing for this game. The seniors are really hyped for their first home game as seniors and are ready to go get this W. |
